The time has finally come  and trust me, nothing will ever be the same. Infinity War ushers  in the beginning of an end, of sorts, for the MCU. Certainly not the ultimate end, with the studio boasting plans for a further 20 films already on the docket.

 Last year's Captain America: Civil War already left its claws in the universe, with the Avengers' forces now scattered and divided; Captain America was last seen in Wakanda, ruled over by Black Panther, helping Bucky Barnes into cryogenic sleep until a cure could be found for his brainwashing. Iron Man has his new recruit and protégé in Spider-Man.

 A threat more dangerous than ever, however, looms over them all: Thanos, who we've seen quietly machinating in the background, embarking on his quest to collect each of the prized Infinity Stones. Placed within his gauntlet, they would give him the power to inflict his will on all of reality.

 Earth's only chance of defeating of him will need the Avengers to seek out some powerful new allies; none other, of course, than the Guardians of the Galaxy - who know all too well what Thanos is capable of. Will they succeed? Is everyone going to survive? Anyone familiar with the comics arc this is based off will know the answer: get ready to say goodbye to some of your favourite Avengers.
