Honestly, this was a pretty good movie. As a film lover I was really impressed with this film. It was entertaining. The story worked well. The acting was great. And the effects were really impressive. I would say I felt the same feeling of excitement when I watched Lord of the Rings. The movie tells a legend. And it tells it so beautifully! The cinematography is breathtaking and for all the duration I was more than a movie spectator.

My only problem with it would be Matt Damon's ascent. I don't think the American ascent had been discovered at that time. If he had gone for a more British-like ascent, that would've been awesome.

I honestly didn't want to see the movie because of the bad reviews it was getting but trust me, you should definitely go see this movie. I'll give it a 7.5/10.
